Oraseal
Presilva Oraseal is a one-pack sealer based on a water-modified self-crosslinking acrylic dispersion. The product exceptionally prevents water penetration which results in performance comparable to traditional 2K (synthetic) resin. In addition, Presilva Oraseal contains anti-corrosion properties so that nails and screws can be painted over without any problems.

Presilva Oraseal is a 1-component sealer, based on water-modified self-crosslinking acrylic dispersion for indoor and outdoor applications. Presilva Oraseal offers performance comparable to a traditional 2-component resin. Presilva Oraseal has been specially developed for sealing end and saw edges of e.g. facade cladding, sheet material, wooden structures, etc. and exceptionally prevents water penetration. In addition, Presilva Oraseal's unique composition makes it highly paintable, scratch-resistant and fast-drying, making it ideal for industrial applications. Presilva Oraseal also has anti-corrosion properties, so nails and screws can be painted over without any problems. Presilva Oraseal forms a 100% transparent film when dry and can even be applied in thick layers without sagging.
Application method: Brushing, rolling and spraying.
Processing conditions: The product should be applied at minimum 8°C, 60% R.H. and minimum 4°C dew point temperature. Stir before use and check colour. Do not apply in full sunlight. A minimum of 300μm should be applied wet in one or two layers. Pre-processing The ends and edges of the wooden parts must be sanded, dry, clean, dust- and grease-free.
Dilution: The product is supplied ready to use and does not need to be diluted.
Drying time: At drying conditions 15 ̊C and max 60% R.H. and a consumption of 300g/m2. Drying times are an approximation and may vary depending on wood quality, wet film thickness, humidity, temperature and ventilation.
- Can be painted over after approx. 2 hours
- Dries for at least 48 hours.
Cleaning: Clean tools with clean water immediately after use.
Maintenance: period Seasonal change and local climatic conditions affect the maintenance period. Intermediate (annual) cleaning of the surface is necessary. The final maintenance period also depends on the system in which Presilva Oraseal is used.
